Arch Rock Aloes Collectors Club
The Arch Rock Aloes Collectors Club is an exclusive quarterly box featuring rare aloe species, novel hybrids, and carefully curated collector accessories from our family nursery in Ventura, California. Each quarterly box features a hand-selected plant grown by our co-founder Thomas Baker-Rabe. The Collectors Club plants are not available for sale on our website or brick-and-mortar store, and are often not available anywhere online.
This is not your typical subscription box. Every Collectors Club quarterly box is assembled by-hand in small batches using mother plants and soil from our own propagation program.
Due to this, Collectors Club membership is exclusive and limited. We have a limited number of rare plant specimens, and it takes time to grow them. Join the waitlist if you want to be notified of Collectors Club membership openings, or purchase a subscription when available.

Limited Membership
Every plant is grown from ethically sourced seed or carefully propagated in-house at our Ventura, California nursery. Because our production is intentionally small, membership is limited and subscriptions are available only while space remains.
Once capacity is reached, enrollment will close until additional growing stock becomes available.
Collectors Club FAQ
Do Collectors receive the same plant each quarter?
Not always. Each quarterly release is curated around the season and our growing program. While some members may receive the same featured plant, availability, production numbers, and subscription timing may result in variations. Every plant in the collectors club is guaranteed to be novel or rare.
Do I get to choose what plant I receive?
No. The Collectors Club is a curated experience. Each quarter, our team selects the featured plant based on rarity, quality, and seasonal availability. Part of the excitement is discovering what's inside each release.
When will my plant box arrive?
Boxes ship approximately once each season (quarterly, or roughly once every three months). We schedule shipments around weather conditions to help ensure your plant arrives safely, avoiding periods of extreme heat or freezing temperatures whenever possible. Shipping dates may vary slightly based on your location and seasonal weather patterns.
Can I gift this subscription?
Yes! The Arch Rock Aloes Collectors Club makes a thoughtful gift for plant collectors and aloe enthusiasts. Simply enter the recipient's shipping address at checkout and leave us a note in Order notes to include. We do not include a receipt or price in the box.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Shopify customer account or by contacting us, and we'll be happy to assist.
What is the difference between the Quarterly and Annual subscription?
Both subscriptions include the same premium quarterly collector boxes with shipping included.
- Quarterly Subscription: $150 per shipment, billed every three months.
- Annual Subscription: $550 per year, paid upfront, saving you $50 annually compared to paying quarterly.
Will the soil be right for the plant?
Absolutely. Every box includes our custom Arch Rock Aloes Aloe Blend, professionally formulated to provide the excellent drainage and root aeration that aloes require for healthy growth. Our soil is non-toxic, peat-free, and does not contain compost or fertilizer.
What happens if my plant is damaged in shipping?
We stand behind every shipment. If your plant arrives damaged, simply email us photos of the plant and packaging within 48 hours of delivery, and we'll send a replacement plant at no additional charge, subject to availability.
Can you deliver in extreme weather?
We prioritize the health of your plants over rigid shipping schedules. If severe heat, freezing temperatures, or other extreme weather could put your shipment at risk, we'll delay shipping until conditions improve. Our seasonal release dates remain flexible so your plants have the best chance of arriving safely.
Can I return my plant, or any part of the box I receive?
Due to the perishable nature of live plants and the curated nature of the subscription, we do not accept returns or exchanges on Collectors Club shipments. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us and we'll work to make it right.
How can I take care of my plant?
Every Collectors Club box includes detailed potting instructions and a collector care guide specific to the featured plant. You'll receive information on watering, light, soil, and long-term care to help your aloe thrive for years to come.
