Seed-Grown: This plant was grown from seed in our Arch Rock Aloes nursery.

Hybrid: This plant is the result of hybridization, a process where two plants are cross pollinated.

Rare: This plant is very hard to find anywhere else. We specialize in rare plants, and are the only growers of some species.

Novel: Our grower created this plant - it is "new" to the plant world. Enjoy something that has not yet existed.

A distinctive hybrid combining the graceful, shrubby habit of Aloe cooperi with the attractive spotted foliage of Aloe ngobitensis. Long, arching leaves cascade from the plant, creating a relaxed, weeping form that stands apart from more rigid aloe species.

The foliage displays maculate spotting inherited from the Kenyan parent, Aloe ngobitensis, while the South African Aloe cooperi contributes its vigorous growth, summer flowering habit, and uniquely floppy leaves. The result is an eye-catching hybrid that brings movement, texture, and botanical interest to containers and garden plantings alike.

Summer blooms rise above the foliage, attracting pollinators and adding seasonal color when many other aloes are dormant. This hybrid is especially attractive in containers, where its arching foliage can be appreciated up close, but also performs beautifully in frost-free landscapes and mixed succulent plantings.
