Seed-Grown: This plant was grown from seed in our Arch Rock Aloes nursery.
Rare: This plant is very hard to find anywhere else. We specialize in rare plants, and are the only growers of some species.
Native to Yemen, Aloe sabaea is a rare and striking tree aloe known for its elegant drooping features and sculptural form. Each plant is seed-grown, making it genetically unique and individually propagated in Ventura, California. This slow-trunking tree aloe is a dramatic focal point in any collection or landscape. We love the bright chartreuse color of the leaves and have deemed it "Sabaea Green" around the nursery!
- Growth Habit: Trunk-forming tree aloe with slow trunk development and characteristic drooping leaves.
- Seed-Grown: Each plant is individually grown from seed, ensuring genetic diversity.
- Blooming Season: Produces striking flowers on mature specimens.
- Care: Thrives in full sun to light shade; drought-tolerant once established.
This rare Aloe sabaea is ideal for collectors seeking a unique, sculptural tree aloe with elegant drooping or weeping foliage and long-term presence. Availability is limited due to its slow growth and rarity.
Shipping: We ship twice a week from our nursery HQ in Ventura, CA. We carefully pack for safe arrival, but please unpack immediately upon delivery. Plants are shipped bare-root, and pot-less for best arrival quality and cheapest shipping possible.
